Yuvan Is Back

Composer Yuvan Shankar Raja is back with a bang through Goa. Yuvan scored music for some trivial films and was wasting his talent as a composer. In fact,he scored less than spectacular music for Venkat Prabhu's last two films. With Goa,he has proved yet again that he is still a force to reckon with. I have always felt that Yuvan is an explosive talent and should be careful about the projects he accepts. That hasn't happened often as he has accepted offers from directors of questionable credentials. Yuvan has woven magic in two songs from Goa and has done excellent work in background scores. Talking about background scores,Yuvan is only next to his illustrious father Ilaiyaraja. Goa is a kind of film which would inspire Yuvan to come out with spectacular music. In more than a few scenes,Yuvan has shown his presence. One could only watch in awe of his skills in the film. Now,it is Yuvan's responsibility to be choosy about his films and if he does that,there would be no stopping him. He is still young and has a lot of years left in him. He has the resource to join the legions of music composers.
