As a child,I heard two names from the west being mentioned in the same breath- Michael Jackson and Madonna. These two names were so popular in the people's psyche that it was common to hear this phrase "do you think you are a Jackson?" or "she is no Madonna!". It was not until my first year in college that I heard a track from Jackson. A guy in my college danced to the tune of "black or white", in the annual function. His dancing skill was great-I later heard that he was imitating Jackson. The rhythm of the song lingered in my mind for long. And then I listened to more tracks from the legend. Dangerous, HIStory, Thriller and a couple of other albums caught my attention. I particularly liked "Jam" from Dangerous. It was when I listened to "don't stop till you get enough". I was swept over by the song,Jackson's voice(akin to a female's voice!) and the orchestration of Quincy Jones. Till date, this song remains my all time favorite from the moon walker.Sometimes later on television,I saw the younger Jackson singing and dancing to this track. I realized why this man was called the "King of Pop."
