The IPL chairman Lalit Modi has made it clear that the IPL will not move out of India despite the possibility of some foreign players pulling off. It has been reported in the media that players from Australia and South African are concerned about the security situation in India and may request the IPL management to stage the tournament in a foreign country. Modi says that the IPL is working with the state and central government to ensure top notch security and there is no plan to move the tournment out of India. Modi also insisted that the IPL is a domestic tournament and the absence of a few foreign players will not adversely affect the tournament.
