Of Expert Doctors And Simple Questions

I carry perennial pain on my left ankle. I have been unable to find out the cause of the pain. During early years, I would get severe pain when I walked a long distance or when I sat with the legs folded for a long time. Later, I used to get pain at odd times irrespective of what I did. I noticed that I wasn't walking straight. I changed my walking style with both the foot pointing straight. For a moment, it seemed the pain was gone. However, it came back after a while. I consulted an allopathy doctor. Seeing the x-ray ,he told me there was a dent on the bone which ran through my left leg. I was shocked and I didn't have the money to undergo treatment. Later, I met a homeopathy doctor on the advise of my colleague. He gave me some medicines. Once again, the pain was gone for sometime before it resurfaced. I consulted two other expert doctors and they couldn't cure the pain either. Also, they told me there was no dent as such on my bone.Looking back, why no doctor asked me what was my weight? Why none of them thought that the pain could be due to my over-weight? And why didn't they advise me to start exercising? Simple questions! I am pretty sure, reducing my weight coupled with regular exercise will help the pain disappear. Wish me good luck!
