Chennai Sangamam

Chennai sangamam is a brainchild of Tamil maiyam, a cultural organization and Kanimozhi, a poet and member of parliament. It is an annual festival featuring music, dance, lectures, meetings and food. The beauty of Chennai sangamam is that music and dance programmes are held in public parks. Folk artists and some big names from the music industry will be performing live in front of audiences comprising people from all walks of life. Chennai sangamam is currently into its third year. When it was first held, it drew criticism from a few critics. They accused the organizers of wasting public money. However, the organizers cleared the air and made sure the festival was a run-away success. For many residents in the city, it was a new experience to see folk dance and music being performed. Instead of visiting a concert hall, the musicians, dancers and other artists come down to a place close to where people live. Over ten parks host the various shows of the festival. Along with this,a food festival is also held. Food is sold at affordable costs and will feature all the delicacies and dishes of various cities. People turn up in large numbers to the parks and enjoy their day.

Satyam Cinemas

Sathyam Cinemas is a multiplex located in the south Indian city Chennai. It houses 6 screens out of which two are big halls and the other four are of medium to small size. Till three years back, Sathyam was yet another multiplex in the city. However, it changed its face quickly and has become one of the most popular destinations in the city. Sathyam cinemas boasts of a state-of-the-art movie projection system and provides its patrons with great viewing pleasure. Everything inside the complex, right from the movie halls to the rest rooms is world class. One can see people saying that if someone is used to watch films in Sathyam, he cannot visit any cinema hall. For a newcomer to Sathyam, it would be like walking into another planet. It all started with the introduction of 6 Degrees, Sathyam's first signature cinema hall. Since then, there is no looking back. Sathyam introduced RDX (Real Digital Experience)- a cutting edge technology in movie projection. It is the quality of the image screened at Sathyam that makes all the difference. Add to it, the chanceless audio system. The seats are very comfortable with ample leg room. Sathyam is crowning jewel to Chennai.

Chennai

Chennai is a coastal city in south India and is the capital of Tamilnadu. It is one of the major metropolitan cities in India. Chennai has a population of over 8 million with the majority of its people speaking Tamil-one of the oldest languages in the world. It is cosmopolitan in structure, with settlers from North India and the neighboring states.Apart from Tamil, a fraction of the population speaks Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam. Chennai is known for its hot climate with temperature touching 100 degree F during summer consistently. The humidity is another factor which makes life tougher. The winter season is very short. Compared to other major cities in India like Mumbai, Bangalore etc., Chennai is a clean city and it is less polluted too. The roads are clean and well-laid. The current government has built a few over-bridges in an attempt to solve traffic problems. Chennai is also the capital of Tamil cinema- a big industry which has produced stalwarts like MGR,Shivaji Ganesan,Kamal Haasan, Ilaiyaraja and A R Rahman. Chennai boasts of  Marina-the second largest beach in the world. In my opinion, the people of Chennai are not warm.Chennai has a long tradition of music and dance. It is also known as a conservative city.

Of Expert Doctors And Simple Questions

I carry perennial pain on my left ankle. I have been unable to find out the cause of the pain. During early years, I would get severe pain when I walked a long distance or when I sat with the legs folded for a long time. Later, I used to get pain at odd times irrespective of what I did. I noticed that I wasn't walking straight. I changed my walking style with both the foot pointing straight. For a moment, it seemed the pain was gone. However, it came back after a while. I consulted an allopathy doctor. Seeing the x-ray ,he told me there was a dent on the bone which ran through my left leg. I was shocked and I didn't have the money to undergo treatment. Later, I met a homeopathy doctor on the advise of my colleague. He gave me some medicines. Once again, the pain was gone for sometime before it resurfaced. I consulted two other expert doctors and they couldn't cure the pain either. Also, they told me there was no dent as such on my bone.Looking back, why no doctor asked me what was my weight? Why none of them thought that the pain could be due to my over-weight? And why didn't they advise me to start exercising? Simple questions! I am pretty sure, reducing my weight coupled with regular exercise will help the pain disappear. Wish me good luck!
